David Pogue on TED... you gotta watch it
David Pogue = entertainment, period.
I was watching a presentation from him on TED Youtube channel.
In this talk, he is playing with Skype for mobile, iPhone, Android and some other cool stuff. In the end, he plays a different version of My Way.
Watching this talk, I really want to have a better mobile phone, but I would go with one playing Android and use more web resources from the phone.
What about you?
Are you using internet a lot from the mobile phone?

We start next monday, March 23rd.

A different kind of slinky...
You might had a slinky when you were young.
Some of them are famous in movies.
I found one very different in a half time show from NBA.

Do you know Twitter? Here is a chance.
I started to use the Twitter service back in October of 2008, and for sure I was kind of not understanding what twitter was about. At that time I was just trying the service. 140 characters to share what I was doing at the moment.
Well, it's awesome the amount of information you can get from that. If you think that you are missing something from the people you are following, you can try a search engine for tweets. I only check tweets at night, but still it's a very nice way to communicate and share "What are you doing?".
In this talk from TED you can check Evan Williams, who co-founded the service talking about some of the growth and unexpected uses of Twitter.
And, if you prefer a comedy view of this, here you have one from Jon Stewart talking about the "Twitter Frenzy". It's very fun. Enjoy!

Street Soccer, Street Style, a taste of it...
I was looking for some street soccer videos. You can find some of those related to Ronaldinho Gaúcho, he is a great soccer player and loves to do tricks with the ball.
Here is one video from Ronaldinho:
But, if you are looking for someone who lives on street soccer (free style), one example is Jeon (JK). Check one video from JK, or if you prefer, try his channel on YouTube.
Now, if you are looking for competition, one example would be Red Bull Street Style. Check the finals from 2008:
One great channel at YouTube to find information about street soccer, street style, would be soccerstreetstyle.

YouTube API, great resources
I'm studying YouTube Developers API, for some stuff I need to build using that API and PHP.
Here are some good things I read and watch.
First, the main page is http://www.youtube.com/dev.
I started also to look for some videos. Found one related to YouTube API information. Check it!
Then I found information related to direct upload functionality, available at code.google.com project documentation.
I also found one video about this.
By the way, if you want to be updated on Google Development topics, check this YouTube channel.

Do you want to buy a book? Here are some ideas!
If you are looking for some new book to read, here are some tips from me. I build some time ago an Amazon Store, with stuff related to topics I play with. So you will find some great options of books, DVDs and CDs of technology, management, music, basketball and other subjects. Take a look.
I will revert sells from the store into discounts cupons for Users Group and Study Groups I help (Agile / Delphi / Java @ RSJUG and Java @ FUJA / Test, Ruby on Rails).

Sungha Jung - Watch him playing the guitar. And that's it.
Words are not enough to say something about this kid. I got a tweet from Alexandre Gomes about this kid, pointing to a blog post that took me to youtube where he got more than 50 videos published.
He plays guitar in a special way! It's awesome, it's pure art. Why all this buzz? Because the kid is 11 years old. That's it. That's the ticket!
You can check his channel at youtube or if you prefer, check some videos I have selected from his channel.
Smells like teen spirit:
With our without you:
More than words:
Hotel California:
And that's it. Enjoy! What a talent!

Ray Lamontagne. Do you know him? Check it out.
Looking for great music? Take a look at Ray Lamontagne. I got this great tip from my sister.
You can listen some musics from this great artist at MySpace.
Here is one music I like a lot, You Are The Best Thing. There's a video about the song at Youtube.
